Business Casual
Greetings!
I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine’s Day yesterday.
Today is Friday and for some of us, we are dressed in business or corporate casual clothes.
We have a lot of options for business casual these days. Whether in a white or blue-collar position, dressing casually should be a relaxed version of your regular attire. Depending on the nature of your business and where it is located, as well as the possibility of unplanned client interaction, your interpretation of business casual may vary.
For men, consider a sports coat and tailored trousers with a sport shirt and loafers (plus socks). Avoid baggy Dockers, jeans and athletic shoes. Also, avoid theme clothing such as your favorite western jacket and cowboy hat.
For women, pants suits and separates are a good choice along with a cardigan paired up with tailored trousers. Blouses and sweaters will create a professional look. Accessorize outfits with belts, scarves, jewelry and shoes. And do not forget hosiery.
Remember that your image is showing when you dress business casual just as it does when you are dressed professionally.
What are your thoughts on business casual, we would love to hear them.
Have a great weekend!
